Step 1: Install Rhinoceros 8
Rhinoceros (Rhino) is the 3D modeling software that includes Grasshopper, which is required to run the InForm plugin.
VPN Required
Ensure you are connected to the Arup VPN before proceeding with the installation.
Installation Process
1.1 Download and Install Rhinoceros 8
Download and install Rhinoceros 8 from the Arup Software Shop. Grasshopper is included and does not need a seperate installation.
Rhino 7 Support
While Rhino 7 is still supported, Rhino 8 is recommended for the best experience and latest features.
1.2 License Configuration
If prompted for a license during installation or first launch:
- Select Use a Zoo license server
- When asked for the server name, enter:
